St John is alleged to have relieved Colin Providence of one pair of Nike sneakers and a watch on December 19 about 6:45 p.m, while being armed with a gun.

He was also charged with assaulting Providence on the same date.

In addition to the $12,000 bail, Chief Magistrate Sonya Young imposed a 6am-6pm curfew on the 21-year-old. St John was also ordered to report to the Central Police Station twice a week.

The matter was adjourned to April 12, 2011. (KW)
