Police investigating Frenchman’s death in Tobago Cays

Local police are trying to piece together the puzzle surrounding the death of Jeon Noel, a 70 year-old retired businessman of France.{{more}}

According to a police press release, on November 27, 2010, the decesaed, along with his wife and others, went snorkeling in the Tobago Cays. It was reported that other snorkelers left the water while Noel remained.

The report said when Noel was not seen for some time, a party went out to search for him, only to meet him face down in the water.

He was pronounced dead by the District Medical Officer.

A postmortem examination is expected to be carried out on the body.
