Trinidadians return to court on drug, ammo charges

Seven Trinidad and Tobago nationals will return to court today, Tuesday, after being remanded on ammunition and drug charges.{{more}}

The men: David Sammy, Adrian Clement, Ronald Burnley, Keston Myers, James Gordon, Nigel Octav and Mark Corny, appeared at the Kingstown Magistrates’ Court on Friday, November 12, and pleaded not guilty to possession of 28 rounds of 7.62 ammunition and 749, 554 grams (1,651 pounds) of cannabis.

The incidents reportedly took place on Thursday, November 11, at Chateaubelair.

Lawyers Ronald Marks and Jaundy Martin appeared on the men’s behalf.
