Craigg, 30, of Gomea/Edinboro, has been on remand at her Majestyâs Prison since last month after pleading guilty to wounding Jolene Charles on Saturday, March 20, at Edinboro.
The 23-year-old mother of a six-year-old son and a three-year-old daughter was rushed to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital after being struck in her head twice with a hammer, stabbed about her body with a screwdriver, and beaten with a cutlass.
One of the stab wounds that she received in her back appears to have damaged her spinal chord, leaving her lifeless from the waist down to her toes.
In an interview with SEARCHLIGHT shortly after the traumatic ordeal, Charles stated that an argument began after she told Craigg he should look for a job.(KW)
