She appeared at the Serious Offences Court last Thursday, May 21st, 2009, and was not allowed to plea.

It is alleged that Olliverre poured strong rum on the girl and lit her on fire because she refused to peel green bananas. It was also heard that the child ran to a nearby pipe and managed to put the fire out with water. Other residents of the area took the child for medical treatment.

Ollivierre is expected to reappear in court on June 29 for a review of bail.

Lawyer Samantha Roberston represents Ollivierre in the matter. The Preliminary Inquiry is set for July 30.
