A labourer of Stubbs is now on remand at Her Majesty’s Prison for causing the death of his fellow villager, Hughes “Reddings” John.{{more}}

Murder accused Michael Alexander appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on May 22, 2009, days after “Reddings”, 45, succumbed to his injuries at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

SEARCHLIGHT is reliably informed that both men had a dispute over a fowl, which resulted in a fight during which John was hit in the face with a block. He died two days later.

Alexander will re-appear in court in August for Preliminary Inquiry.
