$10,000 bail for cocaine possession

Everett Pierre was released on $10,000 bail, after pleading not guilty to having in his possession 1,036 grams of cocaine and the importation of a controlled drug on Friday, February 13, at Kingstown.{{more}}

The man pleaded not guilty to both charges on Tuesday, February 17, when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Sonya Young.

Pierre was ordered to surrender all his travel documents. He was also requested not to leave the state without the permission of the court. His matter was adjourned to June 6, 2009. Pierre was represented by Lawyer Ronald Marks. (VM)
