“Officer, I am very sorry for my behaviour towards you. I am sorry.” This was the apology given by Javid Johnson, a labourer, of South Rivers, who pleaded guilty to making use of indecent language to the police officer on December 28, 2008, at South Rivers.

It was said that the officer was walking in the area when Johnson shouted, “F*** you. All yo can’t do me nothing.” Johnson was subsequently arrested.

Magistrate Browne warned the young man to have more respect for his peers and persons in authority. (KW)
