Ermine Thomas, 68, Carmenia Hendrickson, 40, Desiree Hendrickson, 23, Danroy Sheldon Small, 27, Cosmore Woods, 23, Iran Dunbar, 22, and Marlon Hendrickson all of Fitz Hughes pleaded not guilty to having: one 12 gauge shotgun, two rounds of nine millimeter ammunition, 40 rounds of 12 gauge shotgun cartridges one round of .25 ammunition and one Uzi machine gun.

Dunbar and Woods were denied bail and remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison. The five others were granted bail in the sum of $25,000 with two sureties.

The court heard that the Chateaubelair police carried out a raid at the home of the accused and found the gun and ammunition. The matter was adjourned to August 11 for trial.

Station Sergeant Nigel Butcher objected to both men’s bail on the grounds that they had been recently released from prison on gun related matters.
