Father and son on murder charge
A father and his son are now on remand at Her Majestyâs Prison on a murder charge.{{more}}
Alban âIndianâ Thomas, 65, Shopowner, of Keartons, Barrouallie, and his son Percival Thomas appeared before the Serious Offences Court last Friday and were jointly charged in connection with the death of 42-year-old Edgerton Richards Jr., of Brighton.
Reports state that on March 22, 2008, at approximately 7:15am, Richards entered Thomasâ shop and both men had an argument, which led to Richards being shot. He was rushed to the Barrouallie clinic where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Preliminary Inquiry into the matter will begin on August 5, 2008.
