Grenadian fugitive deported
Another illegal immigrant has been nabbed by police. The latest person is 24-year-old Shimron Bain, who was sent packing back to Grenada after he was charged with entering these shores without the consent of an Immigration Officer.{{more}}
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Sonya Young on January 30, 2008, Bain was ordered to pay $300 forthwith or spend seven days in jail. He failed to pay the fine and was remanded to Her Majestyâs Prison.
Investigation revealed that the Grenadian entered this country by boat on August 14, 2007.
Bain is wanted by Grenada Police for a number of robberies with violence.
He was deported on Tuesday.
