‘Reveal names of drug lords’
Senior Magistrate at the Kingstown Magistrateâs Court Donald Browne is pleading with persons caught with drugs to reveal the names of the persons who are using them to carry out their drug operations.{{more}}
The magistrate made his plea earlier this week as he addressed two women who were charged with cocaine possession.
âWhy do you all allow yourselves to be used by these criminals especially ladies, I donât know why? We must be able to catch these big Drug Lords,â stated the Magistrate.
Browne noted that a lot of people are getting involved in drugs in one way or the other. He also stated that when these persons are caught with the drugs that they are not âtelling us who are the bigger persons running these drugs.â
Browne pointed out to the women some of the consequences of being involved in the drug trade. âIf these drugs dealers employ you to do a job and they think that you are not doing it properly, they wouldnât just take you out, but they will take out your entire family. Get yourself out of this!â ordered the Magistrate.
He also told the women that once they get involved in drugs, the next thing that they would get involved in is guns. (KW)
