Police arrest husband for registered nurse’s murder

Eight months ago Registered Nurse Kemlon Johnson Quammie’s body was found hanging over a cliff at Dauphine. Police have now arrested her husband in connection with her death.

Dexter Quammie was brought before the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday and charged with causing the death of his wife.

He was not required to plea and was remanded to her Majesty’s Prison until March 31, 2008.

Quammie, who lived at Dauphine with his wife, reported her missing on Monday 23 April 2007. She was supposedly missing since April 17. Her body was discovered on April 24 around 2 p.m. (KW)
