Officers from Drug Squad went to the defendant’s home to execute a search warrant. During the search, a plastic bowl containing two bags was found along with a sum of money.

Thomas told the court that she has five kids and that she is the sole breadwinner of the family. She said the children’s father does not support the children at all and that she was just trying to help out her situation.
