Speedboat stolen in Chateaubelair

A 30-foot fibre glass speedboat with two 250hp engines belonging to Vaughn Carter of Chateaubelair was stolen while docked in the Chateaubelair Bay. The incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. on Sunday 25 February.

An eyewitness who wishes to remain anonymous told SEARCHLIGHT, “Another boat docked next to Carter’s boat. They spent something like 12 minutes then they towed the boat behind Islet (a small island off Chateaubelair point)”.

Petty Officer Theobalds of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard told SEARCHLIGHT that an investigation into the matter is being carried out.
