Solomon pleads guilty to possession of cannabis

Carlos Solomon has until today to pay $350 for his habit or face 28 days in prison.

Solomon pled guilty at the Serious Offences Court to having 144 grams of cannabis at Gordon Yard after a routine police search{{more}}.

At about 8.05 pm narcotics personnel was on mobile patrol in the area when they saw a motor vehicle traveling to Kingstown.

The car was stopped and a search conducted on the vehicle yielded a black plastic bag. “Officer is ah small smoke geh me ah chance please.”

Solomon told Chief Magistrate Simone Churaman that he smoked for his own comfort, “Well I dus smoke the herb for I and I” said Solomon.
