The young lad appeared before Acting Senior Magistrate Donald Browne last Monday at the Magistrate’s Court in Kingstown. He immediately pleaded guilty to the charge.

The court learned that on May 7 at around 7:15 p.m., Francis was observed by an officer sitting on a wall. When Francis saw the officer, he immediately began running. “Were you going to smoke all of that?” asked Browne, he replied, “I wanted it for a small smoke that’s all.” “Don’t you know drugs is a killer? Do something better with your life,” Browne admonished.
