Baptiste charged for revolver, bullets

Twenty-four-year-old, Godfrey Baptiste, a labourer of Georgetown was remanded to her Majesty’s Prison after being slapped with two charges.

The young labourer was charged for having in his possession, one 38 special revolver without a license and one round of 38 special revolver ammunition.{{more}}

Baptiste pleaded not guilty on both charges when Magistrate Donald Browne read the charge to him last Monday at the Magistrate’s Court in capital, Kingstown.

He was remanded in custody until July 17 when the matter is to be heard at the Serious Crimes Offences Court.
