Prosecution going for the murder trail

Selwyn Kashie Foye’s name comes up twice on the list for the June Assizes, with one of the charges being that of murder.

That is relation to the death of Percy Browne on October 2, 2004. Foye, who is represented by Kay Bacchus Browne pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Hearing is expected to be “later in the Assizes,” according to Justice Frederick Bruce-Lyle.{{more}}

Foye also pleaded not guilty to charges of aggravated burglary and rape. They arose from a report made by Decima John who accused him of entering her house at Cane End on February 3, 2003 armed with a gun and a knife and robbing her of two gold chains.

John, now deceased, is one in the list of unsolved murders here. She was gunned down outside her home on her way to the toilet in a July 6, 2004 incident.
