Jackson was charged for having 65 grams of cannabis in his possession with intent to supply to another. When the defendant appeared before Chief Magistrate Simone Churaman he quickly pleaded guilty to the charge brought against him.

Reports are that on the Sunday, May 7 at approximately 9:30 a.m. the defendant was spotted at the side of the road by members of the Rapid Response Unit (RRU) who were on mobile patrol in the area. It was reported that the officers saw the defendant smoking what appeared to be cannabis and approached him. They carried out a search and found a white plastic bag in his right rear pocket. The bag was opened and shown to him and he replied, “That ah weed, ah jus wanted a smoke.”
