Information reaching the court stated that on April 9, 2006 around 4 a.m., members of the Rapid Response Unit (RRU) were on mobile patrol in the Block 2000 area at Old Montrose when they saw the defendant walking along the road.

When he saw the vehicle approaching him, he threw a tied jersey he had in his hand into a gutter. When the jersey was retrieved, two rocks of cocaine were found in it.

On questioning by the police, Little revealed that someone had sent him to buy the cocaine.
