Edson Maloney charged with murder

Twenty-eight-year-old Edson Maloney, a contractor of Richland Park, was charged earlier this week for the murder of Kendol Joseph of Richland Park. The murder accused was brought before the Serious Offences Court last Monday April 3, 2006. He was not allowed to enter a plea due to the seriousness of the matter. {{more}}

May 9, 2006 is the scheduled date for a Preliminary Inquiry into the matter.

Joseph, a 32-year-old labourer of Richland Park, died after receiving a stab wound to the left side of his chest, which took place at Akers. Reports are that an altercation developed between the deceased and another man which resulted in the deceased being stabbed.

The murder accused is legally represented by defense Counsel, Lawyer Ronald Marks.
