Ollivierre charged with manslaughter

Twenty-four-year-old Vicko Ollivierre of Arnos Vale was arrested on a charge of manslaughter for the death of Fitzroy Gurley Morgan of Rockies. He was charged for driving motor vehicle PE 130 recklessly on Richmond Hill road on Friday, January 20, 2006.{{more}}

He appeared at the Magistrate’s Court last Tuesday and was asked to enter a plea. Ollivierre was however granted bail in the sum of $15,000 with two sureties. He was also ordered to surrender his travel documents and, report to the Central Police Station on Mondays and Fridays between the hours of 6 and 10 a.m. In addition, his driver’s licence was suspended until the completion of the matter.

The accused was also placed on a curfew. Lawyer Vynette Frederick represented Olliverre on the matter. A date for preliminary investigation will soon to be decided.
