Bobb turns up at Station with ganja

Custon Bobb a 26-year-old labourer of Barrouallie was given a fine of $200 for possession of 58 grams of Cannabis.

When the young man appeared before Senior Magistrate, Carl Joseph last Tuesday at the Magistrate’s Court in Kingstown, he pleaded guilty to the charge.{{more}}

Information given to the Court, stated that on the Sunday, January 1, 2006, the accused was requested to present himself at the Barrouallie Police Station. On his arrival at the station a search was conducted and as a result of the search a black plastic bag containing the cannabis was found.

He was then cautioned and when asked, why did you have the drugs? He replied by saying, “Is mine, I have it to smoke.” He was later charged for the offence.
