Longer wait for murder accused

Leonard ‘Toco’ O’Garro of Barrouallie will have to wait until November 21 for the next stage of his trial. However, there will have to be another Judge presiding over the hearing. Justice Frederick Bruce-Lyle will not be handling that matter.{{more}}

O’Garro is charged with murder in relation to the death of accoun tant Ronald Lewis, whose body was found buried in a shallow grave on Mt. Wynne beach on April 12, 2002.

O’Garro pleaded not guilty last Tuesday. Lawyer Ronald Marks is representing him.

He is also charged with wounding Shelly Ann Gregg. O’Garro was originally charged jointly with Ken Charles for the crime. However, Charles was found guilty but his sentencing hinges on the outcome of an appeal. Charles has lawyer Duane Daniel in his

corner.
