Questelles woman on drug charge in Barbados

Esther Shepherd, a 23-year-old Vincentian hairdresser was nabbed at the Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados last Saturday with 55 1/2 pounds of cannabis.

Shepherd a resident of Questelles was slapped with three charges. {{more}}

The young woman was jointly charged with Troy Ricardo Beckles, a 22-year-old Barbadian man of Grovesnor’s Road, Carrington Village, St. Michael and Lawton Ian Sylvester King a 45 year old Cargo Handler of Laynes Road, Britton’s Hill, St Michael for importation of Cannabis, possession of Cannabis, trafficking in Cannabis and possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply..

Peterson Catlyn a 52-year-old Cargo Handler of Blackman’s Tenantry, St Joseph was charged for Conspiring to Traffic in Cannabis.

When Shepherd appeared in court

during the week she was remanded

in custody.
