School shirt thief caught

Thirty two-year-old Donette Glasgow, an unemployed woman of Kingstown was given a two month sentence suspended for one year to keep the peace or go to jail. {{more}}

Glasgow appeared before Senior Magistrate Carlyle Dougan in the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court last Tuesday charged on August 29, with stealing a quantity of items at Jax Enterprises.

The court was told that the defendant went into the store, picked up three white school shirts and other items, passed the cashier and walked out of the store.

A security guard on duty kept her under observation during this time. He then apprehended her outside the store, called the police and the arrest was made.
