George’s brush with the law stemmed from actions by local security forces on Monday, August 22, during which the farmer was arrested for having in his possession 671 grams of cannabis and for cultivating 10,000 marijuana plants with intent to supply.

He was apprehended after the Police executed a search at his home in Chateaubelair. The law officers found the controlled substance in George’s possession and took him to the Chateaubelair Police Station.
