Hector taken up on money charge

Lamont Hector, a 26 year old Paul’s Avenue man was slated to appear in court last Tuesday charged with having EC$8,724 in his possession. He was held by the Police at Murray’s Road around 11:30 am July 31.

According to the Police, suspicions are that the money was stolen or unlawfully obtained.

A number of persons have been held by the security forces in recent times with varying amounts of cash, and they have been charged under circumstances similar to Hector’s.
