The young lad threw himself at the mercy of the court and asked for leniency as he had his house rent to pay. Prior to passing sentence, Senior Magistrate, Carl Joseph asked Sam “Why you thief the woman goat? She has two children, you don’t think she has responsibility? There is enough shelter over there (prison) for you. Free food and living, you can stay as long as you want, you don’t have to pay rent.”

Sam is currently serving a six month sentence for a previous offence.
