Reports say that Ollivierre, who was armed with a knife, went to the City Store at Richland Park and purchased some items. As the cashier, Joyce Browne, attempted to return her change, Weekes confronted her with a cutlass, cut her on the thumb and demanded money.
Weekes and Ollivierre were said to have robbed Browne of EC$998.78, US$101 and Bds$80.
The two were also convicted for another robbery which took place at Arnos Vale in May last year. They were each sentenced to five years to run concurrently.
