09.APR.10An application form can be obtained at the Head Office in Kingstown, or at Immigration offices in Bequia, Canouan, Mustique and Union Island. Persons are to submit fifteen dollars ($15) in revenue stamps for an adult application form and ten dollars ($10) in revenue stamps for a child under the age of sixteen (16) years.{{more}}

All applicable sections on the form must be completed.

All forms must be certified by a qualified person who knows the applicant for a minimum of five (5) years. Such persons include: Members of Parliament, Lawyers, Notaries Public, Justices of the Peace, Marriage Officers, Permanent Secretaries, Police Officers from the rank of Assistant Superintendent and above.

Completed application forms, along with the applicant’s Birth Certificate, National Identification Card and other documents (Where applicable) must be submitted.

Two (2) passport size photographs (one certified) should also be submitted. Persons also have the option of taking the photos at the Head Office.

A fee of eighty dollars ($80) is charged if photos are submitted and ninety dollars ($90) if photos are taken at the Head Office.

All applicants will be interviewed by an Immigration Officer.

Should there be no queries, a passport is normally issued within seven (7) working days from the date of submission of the application.

NB: As we move to facilitate the public with this service, applicants are reminded that it is an offense to submit or make any false representation to the Immigration Department.
