School Head: She was a top choir girl

“She was our top choir girl! Patrice was spontaneous, very obedient and committed to everything she was doing” These were the sentiments of Principal of the St Joseph’s Convent Kingstown Calma Balcombe as she reminisced on the life of her former student Patrice Bascombe.{{more}}

The Principal said that she was however most impressed by the resilience of Bascombe despite the obstacles she faced in life was able to bounce back. The head of the school also pointed out that Bascombe always had a smile and made a tremendous contribution not only to the school but also to the nation.

She noted that while Patrice was at school she played steel pan, was a House Captain, taught dance and wrote poetry extensively.
