Jessamy always pushing for the highest quality at DiscoveryWorks

Having been employed at DiscoveryWorks for seven years, if there is one person here who would know the ins and outs of eDiscovery services in St. Vincent and the Grenadines would be Kevin Jessamy.

His recent promotion from Production Manager to General Manager in January of this year tells you that Kevin knows how to get the job done. {{more}}

According to Jessamy, being in a highly competitive market pushes him and his employees to deliver the best possible quality and quickest turn time to clients.

“There are cases where we get projects from clients during the day and they request it back to them in the night for a court case the next morning. Our biggest challenge is meeting those expectations for the client and being able to deliver the project with the best possible quality,” Jessamy told Searchlight.

To meet the demands for such cases, a day shift from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and an evening shift from 3:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. accommodate the high demand in production time at DiscoveryWorks Legal.

“Our primary focus is to deliver our product to meet the customer’s expectations.”

Despite being highly productive and meeting the demands in the fast-moving eDiscovery environment, Jessamy noted that there are some cases where local staff can only complete half of some projects due to the limited human resource available.

“There are lots of vacancies here for young people leaving school, also one of our main challenges here is getting experienced qualified programmers to come on board,” said Jessamy.

Jessamy also said he is very impressed with the attitude of the workers at DiscoveryWorks Legal. According to him the management team focuses on employee satisfaction starting from proper salaries to high-level training for workers.

The General Manager boasted of the fully Vincentian-managed and operated team at DiscoveryWorks Legal. All the technology, he said, is fully managed by Vincentians.

“Our local technical director manages all the servers in Philadelphia and New York from right here in St. Vincent. We are doing all the Technology, Coding and Accounts functions here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines,” Jessamy said.
