Inter Island Trading, DHL host cocktail

In celebration of their first anniversary with Inter Island Trading Limited, shipping company DHL, honoured its faithful customers with a cocktail at Sunset Shores on Thursday, July 20.

Southern Caribbean Operations, Manager Arturo Perdomo gave a brief history of the company and it’s achievements worldwide, noting that DHL continues to raise its standard to meet customers’ needs. He pinpointed areas such as the digitizing of bills for Customs and the ability to track shipments safely and on time with no hidden costs.{{more}}

Manager of DHL Inter Island Trading LTD, Camille Peters, praised her staff for often going beyond the call of duty to ensure that they provide efficient service to their customers.

She said, “We know that the expectations of DHL are very high, but through training and development, the staff has worked tirelessly to serve the public with a professional attitude. I want to thank them for their dedication and commitment towards our achievement.”

Peters pointed out that although DHL has been around for 15 years in the country, this was the first anniversary that Inter Island Trading LTD had served as the authorised agents of the courier service in St.Vincent and the Grenadines.

The manager also stressed that they were proud of the partnership with their customers whom she said were patient while the company went through the hurdles of the first year.

Customers of DHL were also given gift packs in appreciation for their loyalty.
