“Match by Design” showcased one of a kind crafted vases from wood, glass and ceramic, leather, rattan storage boxes and art creation utilizing natural materials such as sea eggs, sea shells and drift wood.

Barnwell boasts six years of extensive interior design work in both residential and commercial design. Her experience ranges from kitchen and bath design at Home Depot Canada and one of Toronto’s leading home builders, Corporate Design and Retail Banking for the Bank of Nova Scotia.

She recently added her experience of hospitality design in Canouan where, as the interior designer at CCA Limited, she worked with the General Manager Elena Korach to develop and execute concept ideas for the new Raffles Hotel and Amrita Spa.

Barnwell said she relies on her formal studies

in psychology and interior design to achieve creative solutions through a sense of suitability and

functionality.

She keeps abreast with the lastest trends and issues of her profession by maintaining her membership of two professional interior design associations IIDA and ARIDO.
