Casual sex was not my style – TEMPTATIONS – PART 3

There was a full moon- thank God – because the road to Georgie’s house had no street light. I wasn’t sure what to do or say, so I just put my hands in my pocket. All the fellas say that “you just hit it and quit it”, because unless you have a strong heart and can take some serious butt, Georgie was not exactly the going steady type.{{more}}

Maybe she was feeling romantic – or something, because she put her hand between mine as if she were my girlfriend. Oh shucks! I hope we didn’t meet anybody on the road… I mean suppose somebody saw that. You know what people would say!

Don’t get me wrong, I really like Georgie, and I still want to know… you know… But walking in public was another story… And like this! If anybody ever saw this, I would never be able to hold up my head in this small village. Better yet, what would bad man Sonny do?

We decided to sit under a coconut tree in her yard, because we had a good view of the sea from there. Behind us was the extensive shanty that Georgie called home- home to about twelve people. The breeze was a bit cold, so Georgie came a bit closer to me. She smelled like sex and rum. Even if I had the money, I don’t think I could have done it. It would have been a sin! I was about to think of some excuse why I should go when it started to drizzle. But if I left, there was nowhere to shelter. I really couldn’t take a soak this time of night!

Georgie had her own little 2 x 4 in what was the downstairs of the shanty. It wasn’t much, but it would have worked – if we needed it to… The only thing in the room was a bed and a chair that had seen better times, but still served their function. This was a bit strange for me, so I took a seat in the chair to not look like a fool.

In the meantime, Georgie was taking off her clothes and making herself comfortable… so she wanted me to think, but I know that she was trying to tease me. I wonder if she would continue if she knew that I was broke to thief… I know I should tell her, right… But a man has his pride. Besides, suppose she put me out in the rain, or even worse, tell all the fellas!

Believe me, all of this acrobatics couldn’t be for free! But what was a man to do? If I don’t take it, she might say I’m “stupidee”, and if I take it, I can’t pay for it. Oh life!

By now it was pouring, and the water that splashed in between the boards helped to cool me down. Trust me! Georgie is a phenomenon and everything else they say about her. I saw it with my own eyes!

“You really need to stop… before you catch a cold” I said. I had to clear my throat because I was almost hoarse.

“Stop what!” she asked trying to look all so innocent.

This was more difficult than I thought. I got up and went to look through the cracks in the door, but the rain was too much. I could feel my face turning red and I didn’t want her to see it, so I kept my back turned.

The next thing I knew, something connected with the back of my head so hard that it began to spin. Georgie hit me with the cowboy boots! She was vex. “What Mister Terry? I not good enough for you!”

“It’s not that Georgie, I refuse to degrade myself or any woman by paying for her.”

“Don’t insult me Terry. If I wanted money you would know…”

Well, I knew better, but the flesh was weak. The man in me just had to know. The last thing I remembered was kicking myself for what happened. Casual sex was not my style, because I wanted a meaningful relationship… To get married… kids…

I must have fallen asleep because when I opened my eyes, the sun was in my face and Georgie’s yard was buzzing with life. Goodness Gracious! How was I going to get out of this place without anybody seeing me? Was this really worth it?
