Lottery gets its home at last

After enduring life in three previous locations, the National Lotteries Authority has moved into its own home. That is in Paul’s Avenue in the heart of Capital City Kingstown. It the ideal location, within reach of the main business area.

At the inception in 1984, the Lottery was housed in a structure previously used as an Information Booth for the Ministry of Tourism. {{more}}

That served as the Lottery’s base until 1996. The move was to the ground floor of the British American Insurance Company Building, next to government offices in the heart of Kingstown.

Three years later the National Lottery transferred to its third location at Bay 43 Building on Lower Bay Street. The occupation on the third floor of that property served as the National Lotteries Authority home until last Saturday.

Oh how sweet it must be to for someone to be at home. And after 20 years on the roam, the National Lottery has come home.
