1997 â The National Insurance Scheme celebrated 10 years of service to the nation.

Employer’s – 3.5% Employee’s – 2.5%
0.5% for Employment Injury Benefit.
The introduction of the NIS Annual Awards Dinner. Employees with 10 or more years of service were awarded for their long service.
NIS donated an ultrasound machine to the General Hospital.
1998 â A new Chairman of the Board â Mr. Earl Crichton.
