A simple head rolling exercise

Dear Readers,

Hope you have a great Christmas. Some of you have written telling me how much you enjoyed the exercises, so I have decided to end the year with one more exercise. This one is called head rolling; It is another relaxation technique.{{more}} A lot of you said that the palming exercise was very relaxing and this one is supposed to increase your blood flow and the flow of oxygen to the brain and the eyes. It also feels very good.

How does it work?

1. Gently drop your head towards your chest, then slowly roll your head around from one shoulder to another making a complete circle. Keep your shoulders level and maintain regular breathing. Do two or three revolutions with your head.

2. Repeat step one but roll your head in the other direction. Do this technique- first thing when you wake up and also again later in the afternoon after work. This should give you a relaxation break and it is a great technique to use as a short break from computer work.

In the new year we will be discussing advances in Eye care and I will be introducing some new exciting topics.

Again do not hesitate to write me and tell me how much you are enjoying these exercises. Also send suggestions for topics you may want me to write on.

I thank you for giving me the opportunity to share. Have a happy, prosperous and healthy New Year!!
