1. The primary step is to quit smoking.

2. Adequate brushing also provides some relief.

3. The stains can be effectively removed using tooth-paint and the mouthwash.

4. Extreme situations will require professional services for teeth whitening. This is the only solution for restoring the teeth.

Lip Care for Smokers

Smoking results in dark lips that can be easily noticed. You must follow some tips to regain the beauty of your lips.

1. Smoking is a case of addiction and habit. You must reduce smoking if you find that you are unable to stop it.

2. A minimum of 8 glasses of water must be drunk daily to remove the toxins from the body.

3. A regular application of lip balm will moisten the lips.

4. Butter application at night also helps to moisten the lips.

5. Applying lemon juice, once a week, lightens the shade of the lips, as it carries bleaching property.

6. Vitamin C and E rich diet is apt for renewing the tissue that was damaged owing to smoking.

7. Eating strawberries is also a good remedy for chain smokers, as it helps to lighten the shade of the lips.

8. Honey – a natural moisturizer – also proves beneficial. Honey can be mixed with baking soda – a natural bleaching agent – and the mixture must be applied to exfoliate the lips. It must be done once every 7-10 days.

9. Use lip gloss for lightening dark lips.

10. Your lip balm must always include an SPF.
