VINCENTIAN EARNS BSC (HONS) IN SOCIAL WORK IN UK

Vincentian Orgena Precious Milligan has graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Social Work from the University of Hertfordshire, UK, in September 2016. Orgena is a product of the Belair community and is the daughter of Brenton Milligan of Belair and Augustina Caine of Richland Park. She is a past student of the Petersville Primary School, Thomas Saunders Secondary School and the Longsands Academy. The recent graduate acknowledged that she would not have achieved this milestone without the support and prayers of many people, including her family and friends, teachers at Petersville, Thomas Saunders and Longsands and the Kingstown Cooperative Credit Union (KCCU) who all made this possible and uses this opportunity to say thanks to all in St Vincent and Grenadines and the UK. Miss Milligan’s goal is to pursue further development in addressing issues affecting disabled people.
