Catherine John was awarded by the West St George Secondary School for her sterling contribution to the school and the country as a whole, as it celebrated its 10th anniversary.

Miss John has been a teacher for the past thirty-six years. She would have touched the lives of persons in almost every household in her community and beyond. Her stint at the West St George Secondary School saw great improvement in the academic performance of the students. She believes that every child can learn and goes the extra mile in ensuring that everyone succeeds.

Miss John has set an exemplary record in the CCSLC Social Studies exams, 2014. Her students gained 100 per cent passes with 82 per cent masters.

She has succeeded against all odds. We applaud you for your achievements.
