Question: How has Christmas been so far for you and what are your plans for the rest of the season?

NEIL FALBY:
Neil Falby is a visiting Vincentian living in New York. This is his first trip home in 16 years.
âItâs not as how it used to be. When I left it was more festive – more Christmas trees and decorations. Now itâs a lot of business. People are looking at business opportunities. Every little corner you go to, somebody is trying to sell you something, instead of just celebrating.â
Falby said that he plans to enjoy the season, and catch up with family members and friends. Although he has not attended any of the Nine Mornings activities, he is determined to go to the last three mornings of the event.
He doesnât have many resolutions for the New Year, but intends to make an effort to come back to St. Vincent more often.
âI have to come back more often. Itâs a beautiful country, and Iâve been away too long.â
He also expressed pleasure at the way the economy and people seem to be progressing.
