All Clear Given, Government Offices To Remain Closed

The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines discontinued the Tropical Storm warning for St. Vincent and the Grenadines, however, Government offices will remain closed until tomorrow.

The Tropical Storm Warning was discontinued at 11 am today Tuesday, August 27.

A flood watch is in now effect from 11 am on August 27th to 6 am August 28th.

A flood-watch is issued when conditions are favourable, and there exists the possibility of flooding during the watch period.Residents living near rivers and streams and in areas prone to flash flood and landslides should continue to be alert and exercise caution.

The Prime Minister has given the ALL CLEAR at 11 am, however all government offices will remain closed for the day.

All shelters are to be closed.

The Argyle International Airport (AIA) will reopen at 12 pm.
