The chief component of hair is a protein called Kenatic. When administering a conditioning treatment, a Kenatic based product is most effective, for it replaces the protein lost during chemical treatment (relaxing, permanent waving, colour etc) by rebonding the broken protein bond. {{more}}

While the normal requirement for deep penetrating conditioner is one (1) week before and after a chemical treatment, the condition of the hair should be considered.

The frequency of conditioning treatment depends on the overall condition of the hair. The type of treatment needed for repairing the hair should also be determined through an analysis and consultation.
