Air quality concerns result in staff disruptions at Fisheries Department

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry and Labour is currently investigating a potential air quality issue at the Fisheries Department.

The Ministry wishes to assure all stakeholders that the health and safety of our staff and the continuity of essential services are our top priorities.

As a precaution, some members of staff at the Fisheries Department have been asked to remain at home until Friday, 21st March, 2025. Senior personnel have been relocated to the main ministerial building of the Ministry of Agriculture to ensure continued operations.

This matter is being addressed with urgency. Experts have been engaged to assess the situation and implement necessary solutions.
