AIA resumes operations after aerodrome incident

The Argyle International Airport (AIA) has indicated that operations has resumed following an incident which occurred on the aerodrome on Monday, January 20, 2025.

Sometime in the afternoon, a loud explosion was heard from an American Airline aircraft. It was later discovered that two tires of the aircraft of blew out.

A release from AIA, informed the public around 9:30 pm that the situation has been dealt with and the aerodrome has been reopended.
