Chile providing post-Hurricane Beryl aid

Chile is providing humanitarian aid to three countries affected by Hurricane Beryl.

The Government of Chile has donated US$60,000 to Jamaica, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada, a release from the country’s Trinidad located Embassy states. The donation, provided by the Chile Fund Against Hunger and Poverty, will be channelled through the Red Cross in these countries.

The Chile Fund, an initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs managed through the Chilean Agency for Cooperation and Development (AGCID), in conjunction with United Nations Development Program/Chile, has provided humanitarian assistance to countries affected by various disasters since 2011.
