Lions District Governor visits Clubs in SVG
District Governor, Lion Dr. Carlisle Goddard PMJF is winding down an official visit to the Lions and Leo Clubs in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) this week as part of his visit to Clubs in Sub-District 60B of Lions Club International.
During his January 28-31 visit, Lion Dr. Carlisle is engaging with clubs on St. Vincent and Union Island, a Lions release states.
The visit provides an opportunity for clubs to discuss goals and work programmes with the District Governor. In meeting with clubs, the District Governor will provide guidance and encouragement in order to ensure successful
administration of clubs. As well, Lion Dr. Carlisle will visit and participate in club projects.
He will pay courtesy calls on Governor General, Dame Susan D. Dougan, and Minister of National Mobilisation etc, Orande Brewster.
For the 2023 – 2024 Lionistic Year, the Lion District Governor has challenged Lions and Leos across the District to unite in service in order to better serve more communities.
Lion Dr. Carlisle’s service to humanity dates back to 1983 when he was inducted as a Leo. He is currently a member of the Lions Club of Bridgetown and has held numerous Cabinet and District positions
over his collective years in Lionism. Lion Dr. Carlisle, a Consultant Internist and Endocrinologist by profession, is a national of Barbados.
The Lions and Leo Clubs in St. Vincent and the Grenadines say they look forward to an engaging and fruitful visit with District Governor, Lion Dr. Carlisle.
